Former TOWIE star Mick Norcross died at the age of 57.
The businessman, who became famous as the owner of the Sugar Hut nightclub in the ITV series, was announced by the emergency services on Thursday evening.
Mick’s last tweet, posted on Thursday morning at 07:17, read: ‘Finally remind yourself that you are doing your best. And that’s good enough. ‘The Essex Police spokesperson told MailOnline:’ We were summoned to an address in Bulphan shortly before 3:15 pm on Thursday, January 21st. ‘His death is not treated as suspects, and a file will be prepared for the forensic officer. Information from the property developer’s TOWIE co-stars and famous friends was soon shared in Mick’s last heartbreaking tweet.
Mario Falcone, who starred on the show between 2011 and 2018, released a broken heart emoji, like Elliott Wright, who appeared on TOWIE between 2010 and 2017.
Bringing a breath of fresh air to the reality drama, Jamie Reed said, “It’s so sad. RIP ‘Ex On The Beach star Jess Impiazzi wrote:’ Please don’t feel like no one is there or want to listen, you do matter! You are loved! And the world is better with you. There is always light at the end of the tunnel! I promise.’ Mick survived by his sons Kirk, 32, Mason, Daniel, and daughter Hollie. He also has three grandchildren.
Mick made his TOWIE debut during the show’s second season in 2011. When the show started a year ago, his son Kirk was part of the original cast.
The businessman is introduced as the owner of Sugar Hut, a nightclub in Brentwood, a popular shooting location for the show.
During his time on the show, Mick caught the attention of 39-year-old Gemma Collins and soon fell in love with the businessman.
One of his most notable stories during his time on the show was at a pool party for the second series finale, when Gemma was convinced that Mick had brought him a bottle of champagne, but instead belittled it, presenting it to Lauren Goodger’s sister. Nicola.
Earlier, Mick had said in an interview with The Sun that year that he regretted making the boutique owner cry.
He said: ‘I didn’t know Gemma was so upset. I guess someone might have told him that I was going to be with me instead of Nicola.
But I never wanted to hurt him. I hate the idea of making someone upset. ‘
Mick continued to have a brief love affair with Maria Fowler, who was 13 years younger than her, who appeared on the show.
The businessman ended the relationship shortly after Maria was allegedly working as a £ 600 an hour escort – something the real star denies.
Mick left One Way Essex in 2013, after which the nightclub was used as a battleground on the show.
Sugar Hut is known for its highly publicized feuds on the show, with huge rows between the main characters such as Mark Wright and Lauren Goodger, as well as former open couple Chloe Sims and Mark’s cousin Elliott.
As he left, he told The Sun: ‘My club is a luxurious place where people come to drink champagne and feel spoiled.
“All these lines that they keep shooting are not showing the club well, and I’m worried about people keeping it from coming, which is the last thing I want.”
Mick said that the time on the show was ‘very troublesome’, and that what he did to me as a human being was a rather strange thing from being ‘someone that no one really knew’ but ‘a household name’ so to speak.
In an interview with Echo News about why he joined TOWIE in 2018, ‘it was a decision I made to try to maneuver this job right – Sugar Shack – I needed to be accurately portrayed. And the only way I can do that is to be a part of this show.
Mick added: ‘I didn’t want them to just come and jump hard on the job and describe how they wanted it, the people fighting in the club, and what’s happening with you.
This would never be true, and even my relationship with my son had to be understood correctly. But it has come to a stage where I am not really where I should be in life.
