Baranyi Describes Babbitt’s Last Moments When She Was Shot Next to the US Cap

Babbitt’s shooting video is widely distributed on the Internet. He was a 35-year-old Air Force veteran from San Diego, California. You can watch the graphic video of the shoot here. In the video, a man can be seen following the description of Baranyi, who was trying to lift Babbitt off the ground in the moments immediately after shooting.

Former US Capital Police Chief Steven Sund confirmed in a statement that Babbitt was shot by a member of the police force. This unnamed officer is on administrative leave for further investigation.

Baranyi, Washington, D.C. station spoke to WUSA-9 in an interview. In the interview, the reporter asked Baranyi how she found the blood on her hand.

“[W] e had rushed into the rooms inside and there was a young lady running through the windows. A number of policemen and Secret Services were saying get down, get out of the way. He didn’t listen to the call and while we were trying to grab people and pull them back, they shot him in the neck and fell back to me, ”he said in the interview. “He started saying he was fine, he was cool, and then he started to move strangely and blood was coming from his mouth, neck and nose and I don’t know if he is alive or dead anymore. ”

Baranyi explained to the WUSA-9 reporter why he and other protesters surrounded the Capitol and asked the authorities to investigate allegations of voter fraud. During the meeting, he discussed the actions he allegedly carried out during the protest. FBI agents cited an interview describing their activities in the possible reason statement filed in his case.

“We ripped the scaffolding with flashes and tear gas and went into all rooms just trying to get into Congress, or whoever we went in and said we needed some kind of investigation about it.And what happened in the end is that someone may have died in the end, and this is not the kind of government we can have. “People should do something about it,” he said in the interview.

“Make sure people know, because this,” he said, pointing back, “It can’t take it anymore. This is wrong. They don’t represent anyone. Not a Republican, a democrat, an independent, no one. And now they’re just going to kill people.”

According to NJ.com, Baranyi appeared on video for a hearing before US District Judge Cathy Waldor on Tuesday, January 12, 2021, in Newark, New Jersey.

Waldor set his bail at $ 100,000 unsecured, which meant he did not need to pay bail as a condition of his release. Baranyi was released and the case moved to Washington, D.C., where cases involving the Capitol siege will be dealt with.

The news source reported that he was represented by a federal public lawyer when he first appeared in court, but court files showed he was hiring a lawyer.

Baranyi was one of the Peace Volunteers serving in Albania. He also attended basic training for the Marine Corps, but was discharged. He attended New Jersey College, which his dad posted on Facebook.

FBI released photos from videos in court files; Agents show that Baranyi was next to Babbitt as he entered a window in the US Capitol just before he was shot.

Baranyi concluded the video interview by saying that he may have been the one who was shot, but said Babbitt had passed the window first.

He said, “I could have been, but he entered first. He was one of us.”

He went on to say that the hit could be anyone.

“It was a joke for them until we got in and then the guns came out, but now we are at a point, it cannot be allowed to stand. We have to do something. People have to do something.” He raised his bloody hand again, because it could be you or your children.
