Terry White Wiki – Arrest (Investigation Reports)

The viral video shows police arresting a woman at a Texas bank for refusing to wear a mask. Police said the state’s mask order was lifted the day before, but businesses could still refuse to serve anyone who is not wearing a mask, and the woman refused to leave the bank.

Galveston police identified the woman as Terry White. According to CBS Local, She was charged with resisting arrest and crime after police alleged not cooperating with the officer. You can watch the video here or later in this article.

The video was captured from body camera footage at Bank of America in Galveston on Thursday, March 11, 2021, the day after the mask authorization was lifted. Texas Governor Greg Abbott’s loosening state-wide mask authority didn’t mean masks were no longer needed, but She transferred decision-making power from the government to private companies. Abbott told the Texas Tribune, “It is loosening the restrictions so that businesses and families in Texas have the freedom to determine their own destiny.

White Claims to Become a Victim of “Police Brutality” and Says “Sheep” to Others at the Bank When They Didn’t Help Her

White claimed to be the victim of “police persecution” and “put” it when they would not help others at the bank, body camera footage released by Galveston Police.

The video begins with the police officer turning on the body camera when he arrives at the bank. An employee wearing a mask directs the officer to White, who is in line and does not wear a mask. The officer told him to either wear a mask or go. He explained that he had to close his account and understood the mask requirements. The officer said he was wrong.

“Businesses have the right to refuse service… unless you are wearing a mask. “This is their choice,” said.

She said it was the money in the bank.

Fantastic. “Well, you have to buy a mask and then you have to take your money off,” he said.

The interaction remained calm for the first minute and slowly escalated as he continued to argue and refused to wear a mask.

“We’re going to do this the easy or the hard way,” he said.

What will you do, will you arrest me? asked.

“Yes,” he replied, “I’m trespassing on the premises.”

She laughed in response. “This is very funny.”

She asked the officer if he believed in wearing a mask. He said he believed in the laws he answered, “The law says I don’t need to wear a mask.”

He also announced that She was in a private job and asked him to go out.

The tone of silent argument changed when he took off his handcuffs

“he’s going to shoot me for trying not to breathe to the others at the bank,” she said.

She turned from him and quickly walked away.

“Ooh, don’t,” She said, grabbing her by the shirt.

“Oh, back off! Support!” the woman shouted. “An old lady is being handcuffed here!”

The video showed a fight and instructed him to put his hands behind his back, stop resisting and relax.

“I hope someone is filming this,” she said, handcuffed to the floor.

Oh, I’m shooting it, she replied.

She asked other people in the bank for help.

“Police brutality is here, folks,” she said.

“No, it’s not,” a woman in the bank replied.

“Oh, what a lot of sheep,” White replied.

After some more argument, he stood up and walked towards the patrol car with the officer.

“I think you broke my damn foot,” she said.

The officer phoned his radio for EMS.

I don’t wear masks, folks,  shouted in the parking lot. “This is what they do to you.”

CBS Local reported that he was hospitalized after he claimed he was injured.

Despite the arrest, White told ABC 13 that he was happy to stand on his own ground. She said it was “too contrasting” to wearing a mask.

I’m not going to wear that diaper on my face! said.

In the interview, She explained that She went to the bank with his caravan, so She could not use the car as She would prefer. “The Central City location was the only place open to him,” he said. She was going on a country trip to pass an item off his bucket list and wanted to close his account.

During the meeting, She said that the encounter at the bank was the only time he faced problems because She was not wearing a mask. White said that an employee asked him to wear a mask when he entered the bank.

Galveston Police issued a statement to ABC 13 explaining that the police did not force them to wear a mask, but they responded to a criminal complaint.
