Who Was Nicole Flanagan ?

Nicole Flanagan is the New York woman police said she was last seen entering a luxury building on Wall Street in Manhattan’s financial district. On August 13, her body was found stuffed in a barrel that had been left on a road in Ridgefield Park, New Jersey. The Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office identified Flanagan in a press release.

Flanagan was born and raised in Greenwich, Connecticut, her family told Greenwich Time. According to her obituary, Flanagan was mother of three. Her brother-in-law started a GoFundMe campaign to help with funeral expenses; The fundraiser raised more than $9,000.

NorthJersey.com reports that Flanagan most recently lived in the Norwood neighborhood of the Bronx. Ray Underwood, who has a son with Flanagan, told the New York Daily News that he hadn’t seen much of Flanagan in the past decade. “She had three beautiful kids who adored her and loved her, and you know, a family that loved her and cared for her, you know, she just lost touch,” Underwood said. “I don’t care what she does. I don’t care who she’s with. I don’t care. No one deserves to do this to her, especially a mother of three.”

Flanagan was last seen in New York, and Investigators Haven’t Determined How She Died.
According to the New York Post, Flanagan was spotted in a security camera video as she entered 95 Wall Street with a man on August 6. Citing police, the Post also reported that the man Flanagan was seen in the building’s elevator was described as “a 25-year-old gang member.” Citing Detective Arlene Muniz of the NYPD, however, police were unable to confirm why Flanagan was in the building or who he was visiting. CBS New York also reported that investigators tracked Flanagan’s cell phone to the building.

Investigators have arrested a man they say helped transport Flanagan’s body from Wall Street to New Jersey, according to the prosecution. Aquellio Parker, 29, faces charges including disturbing, transporting or hiding human remains. At the time of this writing, police had not publicly disclosed any suspects in Flanagan’s death. Investigators did not reveal exactly when Flanagan died. As of this writing, authorities have not identified his death as a murder. Prosecutors simply said it was an active investigation. The Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office said as of August 20 they had not yet determined how Flanagan died. The Daily News reported that an autopsy was performed on Flanagan’s remains, but there were “no obvious signs of trauma” in his body.

Police Raid A Wall Street Apartment That Neighbors Say Are Lived By 2 Young Men Not Rented
The New York Daily News reported that police raided a 22nd-floor apartment at 95 Wall Street on August 19, but found no one inside. Neighbors told the newspaper that the two teenagers had lived in the unit for about a year, and that the area around the apartment “often smelled of grass and bad air freshener.”

“I thought they were selling drugs… They always light a strange incense,” a neighbor told the Daily News. The New York Post also reported, citing their neighbors, that the two men were not on the lease, but had some sort of agreement with the person who rented the unit.

According to The Post, Aquellio Parker was seen in security camera footage bringing a large barrel to the Wall Street building on August 11, and was seen carrying a barrel into a U-Haul van the next day. Bergen County prosecutors said an abandoned barrel was found on August 13 near Hobart Street and Teaneck Road in Ridgefield Park, New Jersey. Prosecutors said police were called to the site just after 10:30 after receiving a call that “a suspicious large plastic container had been left on the street”. CBS New York reported that this is the same barrel that appears to have been removed from the Wall Street building.
