According to the records viewed by the Heavy, the 77-year-old woman was arrested by the Wildwood Police Department and held in Sumter County Prison before being released on bail. According to police picked up by The Smoking Gun, Westwood Police officers were referred to a Burger King restaurant for an ailment. The suspect, later identified as Judith Black, had already fled the scene when the officers arrived.
According to the report, the victim, a Burger King employee, told the police, “an older white woman … was unhappy with the Whopper sandwich she ordered and was yelling at her at the order counter.” Police said the worker had said, “If she stops yelling at Ms. Black, she can help her and turned away. When the victim turned around, Miss Black threw the Whopper at her, striking her back, just below her neck, against her will. Miss Black then went to her car, then her husband and left. The victim said that Ms. Black said “Shut your mouth Black bitch.” The victim said she heard Ms. Black call her “nigger” when she and her colleagues got out. ”
Police said in the report that several witnesses independently confirmed Black’s statements, including a manager at the Burger King restaurant, a second employee, and a customer. According to the report, the manager told the police that Black called the victim “Black Negro” and “F-U” as he “jumped out of the restaurant. According to the police report, another witness said Black shouted “Fuck Black nigga” and said “Black nigger” for the second time before leaving. Police said they were able to verify that Judith Black was the person in the surveillance video by looking at the photo of the driver’s license in the arrest report. The officers then went to Black’s home to interview him and talked to them after being informed of his rights, according to the report.

Post-Miranda stated that she was upset by the thickness of the tomato on her sandwich and confronted the victim at the counter. She said she was angry that the victim did not solve the problem and ‘took the hamburger in my hand and threw it at him’ she said. When asked, Ms. Black stated that she had hit the victim with a burger. Ms. Black also said that she called the victim “the stupid Black bitch”. ”
Police did not say in the report that Black was angry because the tomato was too thick or not thick enough.
