Jacob Koutouan Wiki
One murderer was imprisoned for life after an “energetic” young driver of Deliveroo was brutally stabbed to death in broad daylight. Jaden Christie, 20, died on the scene in Stockwell, southwest London, after 22-year-old Jacob Koutouan stabbed him 12 times. Tribute flowed for the “smart spirit” who was admitted to a construction course on the day of his death and dreamed of building his own clothing line. The victim had started her new job at Deliveroo two days before she was injured in the chest at around 2.50 pm on September 15 last year.
Detective Chief Inspector Chris Wood, Stockwell’s Koutouan denied the murder and said, “He chose to combine the suffering of those close to Jaden with false defense allegations in court.” He was sentenced to at least 21 years in prison at Croydon Crown Court on Wednesday. There was a ‘thorough investigation’ into the tragedy, but the police still couldn’t understand why they chose to attack Jaden. Jaden’s “sad” family said that the “incredible” young man “will be in our hearts forever.”
They said: ‘Jaden was an incredible and intelligent soul and had so much life and passion to give. “The victim of a senseless murderer who mercilessly ended Jaden’s hopes and dreams with a brutal attack. ‘His death shattered our family by such a malicious act.” Jaden was not in a gang, he was actually very opposed to gangs and he was afraid of the violence that came with it. ‘Jaden was just getting started – just two days before his death, he got a new job in Deliveroo and was accepted into a construction course the day he died. Jaden had aspirations to have his own clothing line. Jaden loved his family and was the life and soul of every room he entered. Such a positive, vibrant life ended very young before he could enjoy his future, become even more beautiful and start his own family. “It will be in our hearts forever, but nothing compares to keeping it physically alive here and here.” Detective Chief Inspector Chris Wood said: it’s a huge void in the lives of his friends and family.
