Derek, 53, former lobbyist and political advisor, stayed in hospital after being hospitalized with coronavirus in March last year.

He regained his minimal consciousness from his medically induced coma, and when he was not speaking, he took the word ‘pain’ out of his mouth in October.
55-year-old Piers reveals that Kate was told that her husband would never leave a coma.
Kate Garraway was told that her husband, Derek Draper, would ‘never come out of a coma’ in her ongoing fight against the coronavirus.

Speaking at Good Morning Britain on Tuesday, his 55-year-old colleague Piers Morgan urged audiences to take the virus seriously, making it clear that the 53-year-old former lobbyist and political adviser Derek was in danger.

In his desperate message to the audience, Piers said, ‘We know from our colleague Kate Garraway, whose husband is still in a coma from Covid. She may never come out of that coma. He’s been told, and that’s very sad. ‘

He previously explained that Derek now has holes in his heart and lungs and lost eight stones during his battle against the deadly virus. Derek remained in the hospital after contracting the coronavirus in March 2020.

Speaking about Nadhim Zahawi, Deputy Foreign Minister of Parliament for COVID-19 Vaccine Distribution, Piers said: ‘Ask enough people and you will find one [We know from our colleague Kate Garraway, whose husband is still in a coma from Covid. She may never come out of that coma she. She was told to him, and that’s very sad she. We know. Shot right here on our show.

But then Nadhim hit Zahawi and shot many people. Currently 100,000 or more people have died. Think about how many family members they all have. Multiply that and you’re reaching millions of people directly affected by Covid-19. “We have to take this seriously and get vaccinated as soon as possible. This is the only way to do this.

Last week, Kate made a heartbreaking update about her husband’s ongoing battle with Covid-19, saying ‘her body was devastated by the virus.’

Kate spoke to Piers and Susanna Reid about her upcoming book, which will detail her family’s last year, recognizing that she has been feeling ‘physically weak and at the end of my attachment’ since Christmas.

The mother of the two appeared emotional when describing how a friend’s mother-in-law died of Covid at just 51 years old after contracting the virus last month.

Kate told GMB: ‘It’s been an awkward time, I’ve been a little low since Christmas – I feel physically low, at the end of my rope, and I had to regroup a little.

This week, a friend of my 51-year-old mother-in-law, younger than me, died of Covid. He bought it at Christmas, it fell so quickly and died, I just thought I couldn’t believe we were here. ”
