Known by his stage name, Carman was an American contemporary Christian music singer, songwriter, television host, life coach and evangelist. In November 2011, Carman was a passenger in a car hit by a truck in oncoming traffic. The accident occurred just outside the church where it was planned to occur. She did concerts, but later passed out and required surgery to repair internal injuries.

Carman began battling cancer, multiple myeloma in 2013, and was given a prognosis of only three to four years. In early 2014, Carman claimed that medical tests showed that his body had no cancer. She then went on to prepare for the Live Across America album and tour. [13] When the cancer receded, she attributed her recovery to her fans’ belief. He promised Facebook and Kickstarter supporters to start the “No Plan B Tour” as soon as he regained his health. Later that same year she traveled to the east of the United States.

In December 2017, at the age of 61, Carman married Dana Licciardello. She has a son, five daughters and nine grandchildren in her new family.

In January 2020, Carman announced that his cancer was returning. She continued her live concert church tours in June 2020. Carman died in Las Vegas, Nevada hospital on February 16, 2021, after a series of complications from surgery to repair a hiatal hernia.

Carman Licciardello died from complications of hernia surgery. Carman also had cancer. His Facebook page posted updates on his health and wrote on February 11.

In 1980, he made a special album called God’s Not Finished with Me. The following year, he was invited by Bill Gaither to tour with The Bill Gaither Trio.

After moving to Tulsa, Oklahoma, she released a moderately successful debut album (later released as Some-o-Dat) in 1982 . Then, with the release of Sunday’s on the Way album in 1983, a series of CCM chart successes began, starting with the title song. While continuing his music career, he founded the non-profit Carman Ministries.  When The Champion aired in 1985, its first number one song of the same name came out. A live album called Radically Saved came in 1988 and followed their first number one album, Revival in the Land, in 1989.

Between 1987 and 1989, he was named the favorite male vocalist of Charisma magazine’s readers. [4] Billboard named him Contemporary Christian Artist of the Year in 1990 and 1992. [Citation needed] In 1995, she translated some of her songs and released her first Spanish album, Lo Mejor. Heart of a Champion, a 30-track retrospective, was released in 2000.  In 2007, he updated his catalog with the Instrument of Praise.

He bought 15 gold and platinum albums and videos and sold more than 10 million records. He holds the world record for the largest single Christian concert in history. In August 1993, Johannesburg was the main player in South Africa with more than 50,000 attendees, on October 22, 1994 he gave a free concert at Texas Stadium with 71,132 attendees and in Chattanooga, Tennessee with 80,000 people.

Beyond his musical career, he has participated in various television productions and interview assignments, both as the host of Trinity Broadcasting Network in general and its flagship program Praise the Lord. In 2001, Carman starred in the movie Carman: The Champion.

In late March 2013, he announced a Kickstarter campaign for a new album and music video. Shortly after, he announced the upcoming 60 city tours and also stated that the online fundraising campaign had raised more than $ 230,000 in just a few weeks.
