The samples were then sent to the Genetic Ancestry Laboratory for DNA phenotyping, run by the University of Canberra and Sydney University of Technology.
The analysis revealed that the DNA samples did not belong to Mr. Lehmann, but probably belonged to a man from a multiethnic background such as Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.
DNA phenotyping also showed that the individual likely did not have blond hair or blue eyes.
