She was a teacher at South Carolina Whitmore School, a virtual high school.
SLED records show Barron has a criminal record.
Barron has a pending first-offense DUI charge since March 21, 2020 and a first-offense cocaine possession count since August 31, 2019. When asked for a statement after the arrest, Munyon’s husband, Michael said:
“Jessica was the most charming and intelligent person I have ever met. She had a way of captivating a room with a timely joke or ending an argument with a simple statement. She was a loving mother and a caring companion. Her modest demeanor of hers would never accept the flattering compliments shared about her by those she reached out to within our community, but we are grateful that so many people have seen the qualities for which we have always loved her. “
